This is a very solid, well made adjustable baby gate! I'm very good at putting things together and figuring things out, but this was easily accomplished watching the video right on the page I purchasaed it from. The paper instructions left a little to be desired since I haven't messed with baby gates in many years. This is for a puppy, but it is excellent quality and would work great for keeping pets or children safe! The yellow latch on top automatically locks (if you've leveled it out and it lines up perfectly). It took a little tweaking, but well worth it! Great product. I highly recommend! Don't forget to watch their video! Oh, and if you do, it's not clear which way the gray circle washer goes. IT GOES WITH THE LITTLE NUBS face INSIDE, your welcome! You'll see where they line up and hopefully get it right the first time (unlike me)! Good Luck!

It’s tricky to explain why this stairgate is so bad. We chose this one because we have a very wide stair and bought two extensions with it, and didn’t want to damage our staircase. However, it takes an age to find the right balance between being on just tight enough so the door still opens and closes vs. Falling off. AVOID.

Sin pasarse claro jajaja y mi hija es una bruta cerrándola pero aún así no rompe, muy buena calidad, no puede abrirlo, para niños es perfecto el sistema . Para mayores fácil de abrir, se puede dejar abierto también empujándolo hacia atrás de todo, si pasas con prisas la puerta cierra sola. Genial.
