This is being used across the kitchen door to stop toddler "Wild & Beardy" causing havoc while we are cooking. It is the second gate we have of this type, and like the other it is simple to install. While they don't provide a "hard" barrier, they are enough to deter crawling monsters. The dinosaurs on the gate are good for keeping little ones attention but it might cause them to pay more attention to the gate time will tell). Locking the gate is easy to do do and it retracts smoothly, rolling up out of the way. I like these type of gates, but they aren't as stable as the hard metal ones but they give full access to the doorway. This one is well made and the price is comparable with other manufacturers (£43.99 at the time of review).
