We became grandparents to not 1 but 2 beautiful grandchildren in 2021, so we had to re baby proof after many years. This gate is very easy to fit, I had to buy the extender too, but it didn't take long to do & I managed it myself. I chose this gate because it has an easy open handle/catch & I have Rheumatoid disease so need to be able to manage it easily. I also wanted a gate type that you can easily walk through. Ordered this to protect our grandson once he found his fascination with the stairs. It was reasonably easy to fit but needed to order the extension which made it quite pricey. It says one handed opening but we find you definitely need two hands to open it but easy to use and quite sturdy so far.

We got one gate as we have a puppy, easy to put up although the instructions weren't great. Standard gate with spring side bits that can be changed either side to fit to door frames. We are able to close the door still if needed as the gate is quite slim. We were finding it so useful that we have now got a second gate. The price was good at just over £26. Both arrived in the product box but that was ok with us. We have had to add WD 40 to one gate already - 2nd day of having it. Update: we found it a good idea to have the gates raised enough to get our floor mop under the gates which helps when cleaning rather than keep removing the gates.

AGGIORNAMENTO: Dopo ormai 2 anni dall'installazione, non posso che confermare la bontà di questo prodotto. Non ha fatto una piega! Viene aperto e chiuso almeno una decina di volte al giorno, e tutto è rimasto esattamente come quando installato. Soddisfattissimo. Lo stra-consiglio e lo riacquisterei ad occhi chiusi! ----------------------- Quando il mio piccolo Chris ha iniziato a gattonare come un missile per casa, abbiamo deciso di acquistare un cancelletto da mettere sul portoncino d'ingresso, che da proprio su una lunga rampa di scale. Dopo aver scartato l'ipotesi di farne costruire uno su misura, vuoi per i costi, vuoi perchè lo spazio nel minuscolo pianerottolo è davvero esiguo, abbiamo cercato on line e, viste le numerose recensioni positive e il prezzo onesto, abbiamo deciso di acquistare questo articolo. Arriva praticamente già assemblato, va solo installato nel punto dove se ne ha bisogno. Inoltre, per questo modello, sono disponibili anche delle prolunghe per arrivare alla misura desiderata. Fortunatamente non ne abbiamo avuto bisogno perchè costano più del cancelletto stesso! Il fissaggio volendo si può fare senza forare pareti o montanti delle porte, in quanto si fissa a pressione tramite 4 piedini di metallo registrabili, che si fissano per maggiore tenuta con del biadesivo sulle pareti laterali. La struttura portante è composta da 3 listelli di metallo uniti ad "U". Finchè non si applica a pressione tra le pareti, i due lati verticali non sono paralleli, ma vanno verso l'esterno della struttura, tant'è che la chiusura del cancelletto dista dal battente svariati centimetri. Una volta fissato tra le pareti e registrato correttamente, tutto va a squadro e la chiusura funziona perfettamente. il meccanismo di chiusura è ben fatto, e penso sia molto difficile per un bimbo aprire il cancelletto, in quanto va applicata una discreta forza con indice e pollice per comprimere il sistema di sgancio (di colore celeste), e mantenendo la pressione con le due dita, va sollevata la chiusura (di colore grigio). Inoltre, per maggiore sicurezza, il cancelletto ha 2 blocchi sul lato inferiore, normalmente noi ne teniamo abbassato solo uno, quello che battendo sul montante inferiore, non consente al cancello di aprirsi verso le scale. Ogni tanto, esclusivamente in nostra presenza, facciamo giocare il piccolo proprio in prossimità del cancelletto in quanto ama sentire l'eco della sua voce nella tromba delle scale.. lui si aggrappa al cancelletto e lo strattona di peso (tipo un baby-gorilla in gabbia... :D ), ma non ha dato mai il minimo segno di cedimento. Ovviamente di norma il portoncino di casa è chiuso... ma è un'ottima sicurezza in più per il nostro piccolo. Allego alcune foto della mia installazione. Lo consiglio vivamente.

Voici mes impressions sur cette barrière : 👍 Pros: - Facile à installer avec les adhésifs fournis et tient solidement en place. - Le système de verrouillage est quasiment impossible à ouvrir pour un bébé, nécessitant l'appui sur les boutons et le levage de la serrure. - Design simple et fonctionnel. 👎 Contres: - Produit un bruit lorsqu'on la touche, ce qui peut être gênant lorsque mon fils la secoue souvent. - La serrure demande l'utilisation des deux mains, ce qui n'est pas pratique lorsque l'on tient bébé dans les bras (mon compagnon arrive à l'ouvrir d'une main, mais cela demande de la force et des grandes mains). J'espère que mon avis vous aidera dans votre choix d'achat! 😊

Verpakking nog niet open gemaakt maar aan de verpakking kan je zien dat het meerdere eigenaren gehad heeft.
